Water Environment joined forces with Lewandowski Architects and Elliott Wood structural engineers to prepare an entry into the RIBA Flood Resilient House design competition. The brief was too design a house for the future, which takes flood risk into account via architectural features and design. Further details of the submission can be found on the Lewandowski Willcox website and click on ‘Flood Proof House’.
21st July 2008 Lewandowski Cricket at Home Park
Guy Laister was invited for the second year in succession to lead a ‘Rest of the World’ XI versus Lewandowski Architects in the annual Home Park cricket match. Tony Clothier bolstered the ROW team this year as bright sunshine greeted players and supporters at this magnificent venue in the shadow of Windsor Castle. Thanks primarily to a rigorous spring training campaign, the Lewandowski team were too good this year, easily chasing down the ROW total and gaining revenge for the resounding 2007 defeat. This was another thoroughly enjoyable event, and 2009 promises to be a bigger and better affair!
