Flood Defence Design

Water Environment have extensive experience in the planning and design of Environment Agency-approved flood defences for riverside and coastal schemes. Our work has included some large, technically challenging schemes which are now built and providing protection from flooding to hundreds of homes.

We will be involved throughout the process; from technical negotiations, to undertaking the required assessments, full detailed hydraulic modelling and the design of the required defences. In addition, we regularly represent our clients publicly at scheme exhibitions and can lead negotiations with key stakeholders, land owners and concerned residents or neighbours.
